Holly

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

Holly provides a warm and welcoming environment for individuals where they feel accepted and respected. She utilises a non-judgmental and holistic approach, supporting individuals towards their emotional, behavioural and psychological growth. Holly’s experience spans over 18 years, working within a variety of youth and adult community based and government mental health programs. Holly is dedicated in providing comprehensive support with special interests in mental health, perinatal and youth services. Holly provides therapy with a respectful and empathetic approach using evidence-based treatment modalities. Holly is trained in various strategies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Family Therapy.

Payment Options

Therapy and specialised Social Work support can be paid through a variety of different options. 

Medicare rebates through a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP)

Please contact your general practitioner (GP) to be assessed for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). This plan means you may be eligible to receive a Medicare rebate for up to 10 individual psychology sessions per calendar year. Please bring your Medicare card along so we can provide your rebate on the spot.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funding

Participants can use their NDIS funding package to cover the cost of sessions. Thriving Lotus staff will liaise with the participant’s support coordinator and plan manager to manage payments and set up support.

Private health insurance
If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible to claim a rebate with your private health insurer. This will depend on your level of cover. Please discuss this directly with your private health insurance.
Privately funded
Participants can also choose to cover the cost of their sessions personally.

 Our clinicians are also able to provide services to clients under referrals from Work Cover Queensland and Department of Veterans' Affairs.

Cancellation Policy 

To ensure all clients and our community have maximum opportunities for treatment, our Cancellation Policy applies. We greatly appreciate your support in providing adequate notice for cancellations in order for us to offer timely treatment to those awaiting care. We require you to contact us a minimum of 3 business days prior to your scheduled appointment to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellation fees apply when an appointment is cancelled with less than 2 full business days’ notice.
  • Less than 48 hours' notice, or no show, the full session fee will be applied inclusive of any travel or administration costs.
